Homeward Bound - last stop Buenos Aries!

One last walk out to the falls early before the hoards arrive. All wet and alive after yesterdays storm. Magical - the beauty yet violent thundering down sheer drops - just amazing and so exhilarating!

Quick flight back to the city!

Boarded helicopter and out over the rain forest when wow! lightning over the falls!! Steep banking and back to base fast!! A massive storm that lasted for some hours put paid to that perspective!

Back on Terra Firma - but still rollin.................

Arrived back in Ushuaia as dawn was breaking.

Felt like coming home after weeks at sea! Relaxing hotel on the shore of the Beagle Channel soothed away any effects of the expedition. A wonderful inside out pool + treatments in the spa worked a treat - especially my chocolate wrap (no pics but trust me I felt good enough to eat!)

Buenos Aires
Return to BoBo - felt like old friends. Took a train trip up to Tigre where we couldn't resist more boat trips! A leisurely cruise around the maize of waterways in a shiny wooden craft almost a match for the launches of Venice and then an exhilarating water taxi back when our feet gave out walking!

Then another flight on Aerolineas Argentinas up to Iguazu. From the bottom to the top of Argentina - this time hot! hot! hot! and definitely curly hair days with temperatures in 90s and 100% humidity from the falls!

Now for the final course of the Trip - Iguazu Falls!
Wow! What else can we say? Just as we are starting to feel a little blaise after all the magnificent wonders of nature in Antarctica then this!!!!!!
The view as we checked into the hotel was jaw-dropping but then the walk out into the tropical forest on viewing gantries is amazing! The noise and spray just incredible.

Watched dawn rise over falls then took early morning walk out before others were about. Wonderful - all that power! Lots of koati, monkeys, capybara, butterflies and forget the spiders!! So excited at seeing an armadillo!!
